Always on the go. But going where?
People today think I was born on an airplane. I wasn’t, instead I was born in Mexico City. I grew up shuttling between my father's family in Mexico and our home in the US.
When I was 11 we moved to Europe, and then later on to Texas and Florida. Before I was 18 I lived in three countries, moved 6 times, and learned 3 languages. I would live in another 3 states within 5 years.
Where I Am. What I Feel
When I travel I try to see the world as it really is, not as mass media (and social media) want us to believe it to be. Trying to capture the moment; what I’m seeing and feeling is how I’ve amassed almost 40,000 photographs in the last 15 years.
Near. Far. Wherever you are.
Travel doesn’t have to be somewhere far away; it can be right in your own backyard, or virtually through another medium. This site intends to play with the idea and notion of travel by taking the viewer to places near and far, big and small.
Change your point of view.
Or inform someone else's.
Travel changes perspectives, opens doors, brings down walls, crosses borders, and brings people together.
